# How to Use Falcon Card

Using Falcon Crypto Card involves three simple steps: applying for the card, funding it with USDf, and spending it online or offline.

## Step 1: Apply for the Falcon Card

1. Log in to the [Falcon Finance app](https://app.falcon.finance/card).
2. Complete KYC verification, if not already done. 
   1. If you have previously completed KYC on Falcon Finance app, you will be required to submit additional KYC information for Falcon Card application. 
3. Submit your card application.
4. If you meet the eligibility requirements, your Falcon Card will be issued within the app.

## Step 2: Fund Your Card

Falcon Card uses a two-step funding process to keep your funds organized and secure.

1. Deposit USDf into your Falcon Account Balance.
2. This is your main Falcon Finance balance, separate from your card.
3. Transfer USDf from your Falcon Account Balance to your Falcon Card Balance.
4. Only funds in your Falcon Card Balance can be spent using the card. USDf is converted to USD at a 1:1 rate when transferred to your Falcon Card Balance.

> If a transaction amount exceeds your available Falcon Card Balance, the transaction will be declined. Be sure to transfer sufficient USDf to your Falcon Card Balance before making a purchase.

## Step 3: Spend Online or Offline (Contactless)

Once your Falcon Card Balance is funded, you can use your Falcon Crypto Card to make purchases anywhere Visa is accepted:

* **Online purchases**: Use your card details (card number, expiry date, and CVV) at checkout, just like any other Visa card.
* **Offline (contactless) purchases**: Add your card to Apple Wallet or Google Pay to make contactless payments in stores (see [here](https://docs.falcon.finance/falcon-card/add-falcon-card-to-apple-wallet-and-google-pay) for setup instructions).
